Selecting an Interface Language

The interface language is the language of the on-screen instructions and help information. The following languages are available:

• English
• Simplified Chinese
• Traditional Chinese
• Japanese
• Korean
• Portuguese
• Russian
• Spanish
• Arabic

Select the desired language from the drop-down menu that appears in the top toolbar. The default value is English. This value appears on the drop-down menu.

Interface Translation Rules

Generally, all items on a page will be translated. The following items, however, are not translated.

• Proper names
• Product names
• Trademarks, registered trademarks, and service marks
• Search examples
• Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) and proximity operator (NEAR)
• Two- and three-character field tags used in Advanced Search to formulate search queries
