Preprint Citation Index

Preprint Citation Index is a multidisciplinary collection of preprints from a wide range of leading preprint repositories.

Each record in the product contains standard bibliographic metadata such as author, abstract, keywords, descriptor terms, and more. Enhanced Metadata includes full author addresses, grant funding and cited references. Full versioning metadata is not included.

Coverage

Coverage includes research areas in the life sciences, mathematics, computer science, engineering, social science, and humanities. The Preprints Citation Index covers the entire repository, however each repository has a different start date:

Find earliest mentions of a topic in preprint literature back to 1991 from arXiv and include all disciplines in your searching, including arts & humanities.
